Thank you for reading this post, don't forget to subscribe!Honourable Professor Paul Sunday Nnamchi, member representing the good people of Enugu East and Isi Uzo Federal Constituency in the 10th House of Representatives embodies progress and electoral success.
The Deputy Chairman, House Committee on Southeast Development Commission (SEDEC), who was recently crowned Odi Uko n’Mba of Ikem Asokwa Kingdom has transformed from an academic to a true democrat, distinguished by transparency, accountability, and prudent leadership.
Professor Nnamchi who is also the Chairman, House Committee on Nigeria-Republic of Island Legislative Friendship Association, remains a symbol of hope for a brighter tomorrow not only in our dear Constituency but also in the entire southeast.
The Odi Uko N’Mba of Ikem Asokwa Kingdom, though a first timer in the Federal Legislature has indeed transformed into a towering political figure in House of Representatives. His presence in green chambers embodies progress, credibility and electoral success.
The good people of Enug East/Isi Uzo Federal Constituency, particularly those who are objective assessors have rallied around him because of the competence and integrity he has displayed in the last three years of representation in the National Assembly.
His influence and ideals cut across party lines within the Constituency as his vision continues to inspire citizens who desire responsible governance and people-focused leadership which he has set standard for in Enugu East/Isi Uzo.
Supporting his re-election will enable him to push through pending bills, building on his achievements, including:
- Federal University of Agriculture, Ako-Nike, already assented to by President Tinubu,
- Federal Medical Centre, awaiting presidential assent
- Federal College of Entrepreneurship Studies, Ikem
- *Federal College of Health Technology, Mbu
His re-election is important to us so that any of his pending Bills that are unable to get passed within the circle of the 10th Assembly can be reintroduced by him in the 11th Assembly. It is also possible that before the end of the current Assembly he might churn out more Bills.
At the moment only six of the fifty-three Bills sponsored had been passed. The Bills for the Federal University of Agriculture Ako-Nike which has already been assented to by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the Federal Medical Centre Bill, (FMC) which is awaiting presidential assent.
The two Bills, Federal College of Entrepreneurship Studies, (FCES) Ikem and Federal College of Health Technology, (FCHT) Mbu both in Isi Uzo Local Government are establishment Bills which he needs to pursue to logical conclusion.
They are the Bills that will help transform our constituency and indeed Enugu State if successfully passed and assented to by Mr President. These bills align with the Federal Government’s agenda to enhance healthcare and skill-based education.
In him, the dream of making our Constituency a better place for us all remains alive and attainable with all of us standing strong behind him for a re-election come 2027. He has proved that he could do it better as he promised us in 2023.
