The stakeholder meeting aimed to discuss how to respond to the “community choose your priority projects” mantra of their administration, thereby fulfilling their campaign promises. Traditional rulers Igwe Gregory Ituma and Igwe John Ibe, among others, attended the meeting to fine-tune ways of highlighting the priority needs of the town.

According to Vice Chairman Dr. Stanley Uchenna Ezediuto, “As we promised during our time of campaign, our administration shall meet the people of Awgu at the very points of their needs, both as individuals and as communities. Hon. Joseph Uchenna Okolo is here to work!” This statement reinforces the administration’s commitment to community engagement, transparency, and accountability.

The “community choose your priority projects” initiative demonstrates the administration’s dedication to empowering the community to take ownership of their development. By involving stakeholders and traditional rulers, the administration ensures that the needs of the community are truly understood and addressed.

This significant step towards building trust and cooperation between the administration and the community is expected to have a positive impact on the Mgbowo community.
