ENUGU STATE GOVERNMENT RESCHEDULES DIGITAL LITERACY TRAINING FOR TEACHERS

The Enugu State Ministry of Education has announced a change in schedule for the Mandatory Basic Digital Literacy Training for public school teachers due to an unexpected strike at the University of Nigeria Nsukka (UNN).

The training for Nsukka and Obollo Education Zones, initially set to take place at UNN, has been postponed indefinitely.

However, the Enugu Education Zone’s training has been rescheduled to October 31 to November 4, 2024, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Enugu State College of Education Technical (ESCET) and Holy Rosary College (HRC).

Here is the updated schedule:

Digital Literacy Training Schedule:

  • Nsukka and Obollo: Postponed
  • Enugu: Oct. 31 – Nov. 4, 8 a.m. – 4 p.m., ESCET & HRC
  • Agbani: Nov. 14 – 16, 8 a.m. – 4 p.m., ESCET & IMT
  • Awgu and Udi: Nov. 21 – 23, 8 a.m. – 4 p.m., ESCET & IMT

All teachers under the Enugu State Universal Basic Education Board (ENSUBEB), Post Primary Schools Management Board (PPSMB), Science, Technical and Vocational Schools Management Board (STVSMB), and schools managed by Christian Religious Commissions are required to participate.

The Ministry has directed education boards and commissions to ensure full participation of teachers under their management.
