Hon. Sydney Okechukwu Edeh, the Chairman of Nkanu East Local Government Area and ALGON Enugu State, officially swore in Rev. Felix Okoye as the new Secretary to the Local Government during a ceremony held at the Local Government Secretariat today Wednesday, November 7, 2024.

In his remarks, Hon. Edeh emphasized the vital role of the Secretary in local government administration, calling for teamwork and collaboration to foster development in Nkanu East. He reaffirmed his commitment to enhancing living standards and ensuring equitable distribution of democratic benefits, upholding his campaign promises to the people of Nkanu East.
In his acceptance speech, Hon. Okoye expressed gratitude for the opportunity to serve and pledged to leverage his experience for the council’s growth.
