The commendations poured in from parents and guardians of the young footballers who participated in the recently concluded screening exercise. Over 300 potentials showcased their skills at the Rangers Training Pitch, Independence Layout, Enugu.
During an interactive session between the management and parents on Sunday, December 1, 2024, at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium, Enugu, the General Manager/CEO of Rangers, Amobi Ezeaku Esq., expressed his gratitude to the parents for their presence. He outlined the club’s strategic plans for the Rangers Academicals, emphasizing the commitment to providing the necessary training, monitoring, and support for the young players to excel in the sport.

“We will give the kids all necessary access and everything they need to excel. We will make provision for them to take advantage of any opportunities that come their way. Soon, we will initiate the process of registering the young players in the FIFA database, streamlining their entry into the football world,” Ezeaku stated.

Parents in attendance praised the management of Rangers for the technical and moral guidance being imparted to their children. They noted a positive change in their wards’ behavior since joining the Rangers Academicals and urged the coaches to continue guiding the kids in the right direction, both academically and athletically.
The interactive session concluded with an exchange of contacts between parents and management, followed by a group photograph featuring the kids, parents, coaches, and management.
