The Executive Chairman of Awgu Local Government Area, Hon. Uchenna Joseph Okolo, today joined the Agbogugu Brothers Diaspora Club (ABCD) in the presentation and handover of nine security motorcycles to boost neighborhood security in Agbogugu. He commended the club for their remarkable initiative in strengthening local security and promoting community well-being.

The ABCD, in a commendable community-driven effort, donated one motorcycle to each of the nine villages in Agbogugu to support security operations and enhance safety within the area.

Speaking at the event, Hon. Uchenna Okolo lauded the ABCD for their commitment to the welfare of their homeland, describing their contribution as a testament to responsible citizenship and unity. He also extended his appreciation to the Executive Governor of Enugu State, His Excellency Dr. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah, for fostering an enabling environment that allows such progressive initiatives to thrive. According to him, Governor Mbah’s leadership has prioritized security and infrastructural development, creating a safer and more prosperous Enugu State.

Hon. Uchenna Okolo further urged other communities to emulate the ABCD’s exemplary gesture, emphasizing that security is a collective responsibility. He highlighted the vital role of community associations as key partners in governance, contributing significantly to grassroots development. While reiterating his administration’s commitment to ensuring the safety and progress of all residents, he described Governor Mbah as a visionary leader and a “God-sent” blessing to the state.
