…Celebrates His Contributions To Nollywood And Enugu State
Enugu State Governor, Dr. Peter Mbah, has joined fans and well-wishers around the world to celebrate the 70th birthday of veteran Nollywood actor, Nkem Owoh, popularly known as Osuofia.
In a statement on his Facebook handle, Governor Mbah said: “Enugu State is celebrating one of its most treasured sons, Nkem Owoh, popularly known as Osuofia, as he marks his 70th birthday.”
The Governor described Owoh as a veteran actor who has brought “joy and laughter to millions worldwide through his exceptional talent and dedication to the craft.” He noted that Owoh’s contributions to the growth and success of Nollywood are “immeasurable,” and his commitment, resilience, and passion have “inspired a generation of actors and filmmakers.”
“As a true icon of the industry, he has played a significant role in putting Enugu State and Nigeria on the global map,” Governor Mbah added.
The Governor wished Owoh a happy 70th birthday, saying: “Here’s to many more years of good health, happiness, and continued success! Join in wishing the inimitable Nkem Owoh, aka Osuofia, a happy 70th birthday!”
