The induction ceremony, which took place at the school premises, featured the presentation of stationeries, replica jerseys, and other club memorabilia to the students. The General Manager/CEO of Rangers, Amobi Ezeaku Esq., was assisted by the Administrative Secretary, Barr. Alex Agbo; Director of Legal Services, Barr. (Mrs.) Nnenna Nwomeh; and other officials in distributing the items.

Speaking at the event, Barrister Ezeaku emphasized the importance of instilling the ‘Never Say Die’ spirit of the club in the young students. He explained that this spirit is about cultivating determination to succeed despite challenges, which is the core of the club since its formation 55 years ago.
“We are here to let you know what Rangers stands for,” Ezeaku said. “Our motto, ‘Through Difficulties To The Heights,’ is simply telling us that no matter how difficult a situation may be, with determination and hard work, success will be achieved. We also want to encourage you to know that school and sports can go together, and for us at Rangers, we have a platform where ages 10-19 can come and showcase their football talent for proper grooming.”

The students, who were visibly elated, praised the visiting team for setting up the Rangers Foundation in their school.

The induction ceremony is a significant step towards achieving the club’s strategic plan of community social impact, which was announced by the General Manager/CEO, Amobi Ezeaku Esq., at his inaugural world press conference in August 2023. The plan, which covers the period 2023-2027, aims to promote community social impact through various initiatives, including the Rangers Foundation.
