Dr. Chukwuwike was accompanied by senior officials from the Ministry of Housing, including Director of Town Planning, Mr. Ngene Charles; Director of Estate, Mr. Martin Mba; Deputy Director of Administration, Mrs. Nnaji Faith; Ministry PRS, Mr. Nnabuike Nwobodo; Public Relations Officer, Mr. Offonabo Chimdike, and other ministry staff.

During a meeting with contractors, Dr. Chukwuwike reminded them of their contractual obligations and noted that the disbursement of funds had been increased from three to six installments to provide more financial flexibility. He stressed the urgency of completing the project before the rainy season and questioned the reasons behind the delays, given that payments had already been made.

Contractors Eng. Odenigbo Anthony and Eng. Mac-Donald Okwo cited challenges, including tax deductions reducing their working budget and fundamental issues with the initial contract bidding process. Dr. Chukwuwike assured the contractors that their concerns would be reviewed and proposed forming a joint committee to examine the issues and present a report to the Governor for further action.
