It is my priority to carve a lasting legacy in their hearts.”
This statement speaks volumes about his priorities and dedication to the people he serves. As the representative of Enugu East/Isi Uzo Federal Constituency, Prof. Nnamchi has demonstrated exceptional leadership and a strong work ethic.
His notable achievements in the National Assembly include sponsoring almost forty Bills and numerous motions aimed at strengthening our democracy and impacting the lives of the citizens. He has also attracted impactful projects, such as:
- Building and rehabilitating schools buildings
- Deploying ultramodern street light projects in several communities
- Providing computer literacy programs for youths in upper primary and secondary schools to expose them early in information communications technology, (ICT) in addition to award of tertiary scholarships to several indigent constituents drawn from the communities within Enugu East and Isi Uzo Local Government Areas. Rep Nnamchi also provided free medical outreaches for constituents which took place in six locations within the Federal Constituency to address the health needs of his people.
Prof. Nnamchi’s focus on the present and his commitment to delivering on his promises are admirable. Rather than getting distracted by future elections, he prioritizes the needs of his people. This approach is a refreshing change from typical political rhetoric and demonstrates his genuine interest in serving the public.
His dedication to his people and role as a representative is unwavering, and his words and actions are testaments to his character. As he continues to serve his people, it is clear that Prof. Nnamchi will remain a champion of their interests and a shining example of effective leadership.
He is vibrant and eloquent both at the plenary and committee meetings with nationalistic appeals. These are attributes that have endeared him not just to the leadership of the House but to several of his colleagues both ranking and green horns members from other parts of divides. In fact, Professor Nnamchi’s concern and empathy towards the plights of not just his constituents but the generality of the Nigerian populace stand him out as true a patriot.
