Enugu State Governor, Dr. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah, has been conferred with the prestigious Leadership Governor of the Year 2024 award, in recognition of his outstanding achievements in transforming the state.

According to Hon. Sydney Okechukwu Edeh, Chairman of Nkanu East LGA and Chairman, ALGON Enugu State Chapter, “This recognition serves as a clear testament to your visionary leadership, unwavering commitment to good governance, and the transformative progress your administration has achieved across various sectors.”
Governor Mbah’s administration has recorded significant milestones, including the construction of 260 Green Smart Schools across the 260 wards, the establishment of 260 type 2 hospitals, the development of 260 farm estates, and the construction of over 300 roads in just two years.
Reacting to the award, Governor Mbah expressed his gratitude, saying, “This award is a validation of our administration’s efforts to transform Enugu State and improve the lives of our people. We remain committed to delivering on our campaign promises and making Enugu State a model for sustainable development.”
The award ceremony was attended by dignitaries from across the country, including government officials, traditional rulers, and stakeholders in the private sector.
