Anayo Onwuegbu FNSE, has expressed shock and condemnation over the dastardly killing of security men on duty by unknown gunmen at Ozudaa market road Achi in Oji River Local Government Area of Enugu State on April 15, 2025.
In a statement, Hon. Onwuegbu sympathized with the families of the slain policemen, describing the incident as “heinous activities.” He appealed to the security agencies to fish out the perpetrators, emphasizing the need for justice and accountability.
The lawmaker noted that the attack comes at a point when security challenges in the communities had been nipped, making it all the more disturbing. He urged his constituents to remain calm and go about their normal duties, while also encouraging them to report any suspicious activities to the authorities.
Hon. Onwuegbu reiterated his call on youths in the constituency to utilize the empowerment programs initiated by Enugu State Governor, Barr. Peter Mbah, to positively engage their minds and contribute to the development of their communities. “Let us work together to build a safer and more prosperous community,” he emphasized.
