
The Executive Chairman of Enugu North Local Government Area, Hon. Dr. Barr. Ibenaku Onoh, has made a significant appointment aimed at deepening youth inclusion in governance and policy-making processes.

According to Dr. Onoh, the appointment aligns with the vision of His Excellency, Governor Peter Ndubuisi Mbah, to promote youth development and participation in governance at both the state and grassroots levels. Comrade Obi, a former National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) Joint Campus Committee Chairman in Enugu, is a respected youth leader known for his commitment to student advocacy, grassroots mobilization, and youth development.
Dr. Onoh expressed confidence that Obi’s experience and expertise will contribute immensely to the council’s programs on youth and student development.
Reacting to the appointment, Comrade Obi assured that he will bring to bear his experience in youth development to ensure that Governor Mbah and Dr. Onoh’s vision for the youths is manifested at the grassroots level, especially across the 13 political wards in the council.
