Two years ago, the people of Enugu State entrusted you, Your Excellency, with the mantle of leadership. In that time, you have not only justified that trust, but have exceeded expectations through your pursuit of transformational governance, encapsulated in your bold vision of Disruptive Innovation for exponential growth.
From the bustling urban centers to the serene rural communities like ours in Nkerefi, the winds of positive change are evident. Your focus on infrastructure development, digital economy, water resource expansion, green revolution, educational reform, and health care revitalization have breathed new life into the hopes and aspirations of Ndi Enugu.
Most especially, Your Excellency, we acknowledge your efforts in rural integration and inclusive development. For too long, communities like Ishienu Amofu, Nkerefi have remained at the margins of the state’s developmental map. But in just two years, we have begun to witness renewed attention, accessibility, and a sense of belonging, a confirmation of your promise to leave no community behind.
Your forward-thinking initiatives such as the Smart Schools program, aggressive infrastructural renewals, water reticulation projects, and drive to attract private investment, are not mere campaign slogans. They are now realities shaping the future of Enugu State. Indeed, the state’s reputation as the most investor-friendly state in Nigeria under your watch is not a fluke, but the result of deliberate, transparent, and people-centered policies.
As a custodian of tradition and grassroots heritage, I, HRH Igwe Michael Christian Ogbonnaya, on behalf of the sons and daughters of Ishienu Amofu, proudly celebrate your commitment to peace, progress, and purpose. Your Excellency, your leadership has rekindled the spirit of unity and inspired a new consciousness in governance. You have proven that governance, when driven by vision and courage, can truly transform lives.
