
The Enugu State Government, in collaboration with the Federal Government, has commenced the recruitment of healthcare workers to strengthen service delivery across Primary Healthcare Centres (PHCs) in the state’s 260 wards.
Thank you for reading this post, don't forget to subscribe!According to the Enugu State Primary Healthcare Development Agency (ENS-PHCDA), the positions available include Junior Community Health Extension Workers (JCHEWs) and Assistant Community-Based Volunteers (ACBVs).
The recruitment exercise is targeted at unemployed licensed JCHEWs and unemployed school certificate holders who are residents in their wards of origin. Applicants must be between 25 and 60 years of age, own a smartphone, and demonstrate readiness to serve in grassroots health facilities.
While describing the exercise as a strategic intervention to expand access to primary healthcare, the Executive Secretary/CEO of ENS-PHCDA, Dr. Ifeyinwa Ani-Osheku, assured that the positions come with attractive remuneration packages.
