A total number of four hundred and ninety-six (496) school children from Uzam Primary School, Amechi Idodo, were registered by the ENSUBEB monitoring team led by Mrs Ego Eze today, 25th of September 2025.

They were allocated to their various classrooms starting from ECCDE (Nursery) to Primary 6. It was indeed a thing of great joy and a very memorable event as the school children and their teachers from Uzam CPS Amechi Idodo joyfully migrated to the new Smart Green School, now being equipped for their academic programmes.

The joy of the jubilant pupils and their teachers knew no bounds as they jumped around the new academic environment, thanking His Excellency Barr Peter Ndubuisi Mbah, the Governor of Enugu State, for his good works in Enugu State, especially with the introduction of the Smart Green School and promotion of Basic Education in the state.

Addressing the pupils and their teachers, the team leader, Mrs Ego Eze, explained to them the benefits of Smart Green School, especially the free items, including school uniforms, books, and free meals daily, as well as free tuition, among others.
Mrs Eze therefore advised them to do the needful to keep the school compound clean and ensure that they do not damage or destroy any of the equipment/ items of furniture provided for their comfort in the school.

Also, Mrs Caroline Okoro in her speech, noted with satisfaction the orderly manner both the teachers and their learners conducted themselves while migrating from their old school to the Smart Green School. She told them to keep coming to school with their old uniforms and books till they are substituted by the Government.

The Head Teachers of the two schools, Mrs Umeh Magdalene and Mrs Nnaji Regina, thanked the state Governor for the introduction of the new system of Education, and they also promised to put more effort into the discharge of their duties.
