The registration exercise, which took place at Central Primary School, Inyi, also featured the official flag-off of the APC e-registration in the ward. Prof. Mbah was accompanied by the Chairman of Oji River LGA, Hon. Greg Anyaegbudike, alongside party leaders and supporters.

Speaking after his registration, Prof. Mbah said the visit was aimed at mobilising and sensitising the people to participate fully in voter registration and the APC e-registration exercise, while highlighting the development strides of the present administration.

“We came to sensitise our people and encourage them to enrol in the ongoing APC e-registration. Under the administration of Dr. Peter Mbah, the people of Inyi Ward have benefited immensely in terms of political appointments and infrastructural development. Inyi alone has four Smart Green Schools and four Type-2 Primary Healthcare Centres, with more projects still in the pipeline,” he said.

He described the level of investment in human capital development under the current administration as unprecedented, adding that the people of Inyi and Oji River would continue to appreciate the governor’s inclusive style of governance.

“There are more projects lined up for execution. What His Excellency has achieved in just two years is significant, and we are grateful for the prosperity and development he has brought to our area,” Prof. Mbah added.

Also speaking, the Commissioner for Culture and Tourism, Mrs. Ugochi Madueke, who hails from the ward, pledged the community’s continued support for the governor and the APC.

“Inyi people owe Governor Peter Mbah a lot. It is not just gratitude; we owe him loyalty. We are the only ward in the state with two commissioners. The least we can do is to pay him back with our votes and declare no vacancy,” she said, urging residents to come out en masse to register and shun opposition activities.

Flagging off the e-registration, Anyaegbudike explained that the exercise covered voter registration, National Identification Number (NIN) enrolment and APC membership registration, all aimed at consolidating support for the ruling party at the national, state and local levels.

“APC is Oji River and Oji River is APC. We have made voter registration, NIN registration and APC e-registration accessible so there will be no hindrance for our people. The government of Dr. Peter Mbah has done us well, and it would be ingratitude not to support him and the APC family come 2027,” the council chairman said.

He expressed optimism that more development projects would be attracted to the area, noting the alignment between the state and the centre.
The member representing Oji River State Constituency in the House of Assembly, Hon. Osita Eze, also urged residents to sustain their support for the APC-led government.

“Your massive turnout shows total support for what our governor is doing. The best way to show gratitude is to support him and become registered members of his party. Unity is power, and together we will remain strong and indivisible,” he said.

The event also featured remarks from the Chairman of the Oji River Traditional Rulers Council and Igwe of Achi Community, HRH Igwe Chima Felix Achiekwelu, who commended the administration for delivering dividends of democracy and advised the people to continue supporting the governor.
