
The Executive Chairman of Enugu State Universal Basic Education Board (ENSUBEB)Assoc Prof Hyginus Banko Okibe has assured all applicants who applied as catering and cleaning services vendors that the selection process will be transparent, credible, and strictly based on merit.

Addressing participants at ENSUBEB premises the interview venue, the Chairman appreciated the large turnout of applicants from different Local Government Areas and encouraged them to remain confident throughout the exercise.


He explained that the interview process had been carefully structured with specific days assigned to each LGA to ensure orderliness, fairness, and equal opportunity for everyone.
He emphasized that ENSUBEB maintains a zero-tolerance policy for bribery and corruption, stressing that no applicant should offer or expect any form of inducement during the selection process.



According to him, the Board is committed to selecting only qualified and dedicated vendors who will support quality service delivery in public primary and junior basic schools across the state.


The Chairman further highlighted that successful vendors would play a vital role in sustaining the vision of the Enugu State Government through the establishment of 260 Smart Green Schools. He noted that communities will directly benefit from these modern learning environments, assuring applicants that they will be proud to contribute to the transformation of education in their various areas.


He concluded by urging all participants to remain patient, follow the interview guidelines, and believe in the integrity of the process, adding that ENSUBEB remains focused on delivering quality education under a safe, clean, and conducive school environment.
He assured them that all participants who applied for the services would be interviewed to get the best out of all.
