…As Community Overwhelmingly Passes Resounding Vote of Confidence on Gov. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah

Engr. Anayo Onwuegbu, led party faithfuls and stakeholders in a massive show of support for Governor Peter Ndubuisi Mbah during the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship primary election Affirmation.
The atmosphere across the community was electrifying as APC members, women groups, youths, elders, and supporters trooped out in their thousands
to participate in the exercise, which saw Governor Mbah emerge unopposed as the candidate for the party’s governorship ticket ahead of the 2027 general election.
In what many observers described as a historic and unanimous endorsement, the people of Akpugoeze Ward responded with a thunderous “Aye” when electoral officials called for affirmation of Governor Mbah’s candidature, signaling overwhelming confidence in his leadership and administration.
Speaking during the exercise, Hon. Onwuegbu commended Governor Mbah for what he described as transformative leadership and remarkable developmental strides recorded across Enugu State within a short period.
He stated that the pace of development in Enugu State had accelerated significantly since the state aligned with the APC, while also appreciating President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for accepting Governor Mbah into the mainstream Governance of Nigeria.
According to him, Governor Mbah has become one of the prominent political leaders contributing ideas towards reshaping Nigeria’s economy and strengthening progressive governance across the country.
Hon. Onwuegbu further expressed optimism that Governor Mbah would, in the near future, emerge as Chairman of the Progressive Governors’ Forum owing to his leadership qualities and governance style.
The federal lawmaker also appreciated Governor Mbah for endorsing his return to the House of Representatives to continue representing the people of Aninri, Awgu, and Oji-River Federal Constituency.

He revealed that although he had visited two other wards within Oji-River before arriving at Akpugoeze, the turnout witnessed in the community was exceptional and unmatched, describing it as clear evidence that the people appreciated the governor’s performance and leadership.
Hon. Onwuegbu commended the people of Akpugoeze for their massive support and urged them to sustain the same momentum during the 2027 general elections to ensure total victory for the APC.
He thereafter declared the celebration officially open with entertainment, refreshments, cash support, assorted drinks, and varieties of local and foreign delicacies made available for party faithful and guests.
According to him, Governor Mbah has continued to redefine governance through infrastructural renewal, economic reforms, improved security, educational advancement, and people-oriented policies that have positively impacted communities across Enugu State.
In his remarks, Chief Benson Eze (Onwa), former APC Chairman in Oji-River Local Government Area, described Governor Mbah as a unifying leader whose style of governance had continued to attract massive support across party lines.
He noted that the overwhelming endorsement witnessed in Akpugoeze Ward reflected the people’s satisfaction with the governor’s performance, commitment to grassroots development, and inclusive leadership style.
Also speaking, Hon. Nkiru Anyaji (Lady Diamond), former Coordinator of APC E-Registration in Oji-River LGA, applauded party members for their unity, discipline, and dedication throughout the primary process.
She encouraged women, especially, to ensure they obtained and safeguarded their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) ahead of the 2027 general elections. She maintained that Governor Mbah’s administration had brought renewed hope, progress, and development to the people, stressing that the governor deserved another term to consolidate on the gains already achieved.
According to her, the APC would record a “Wuya Wuya” victory on election day due to the growing acceptance of the party and Governor Mbah’s performance across the state.

TVC, Hon. Onwuegbu and several party supporters expressed confidence that Governor Mbah and the APC would secure landslide victories in the 2027 general elections, citing the governor’s achievements, growing popularity, and the increasing acceptance of the APC across Enugu State.
Hon. Onwuegbu further declared that President Tinubu would also record overwhelming victory nationwide, insisting that the APC had continued to dominate Nigeria’s political landscape through purposeful leadership and people-oriented governance.
The exercise ended in jubilation as supporters celebrated Governor Mbah’s affirmation with songs, cheers, solidarity chants, and dancing across the community.
