Senator Ngwu noted that democracy remains the bedrock of good governance, accountability, and sustainable development, stressing that the nation’s future depends on the active involvement of its citizens in the democratic process.
He emphasized that despite the challenges confronting the country, Nigerians possess the strength, determination, and unity needed to build a more prosperous and inclusive society.
According to him, Democracy Day provides an opportunity to reflect on the sacrifices of those who fought for democratic governance while renewing commitment to the values of freedom, justice, equity, and national cohesion.
“Democracy is our strength, unity is our power, and together we can build the Nigeria we all dream of,” the senator stated.
