Beyond the far-reaching impact of President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda, these are some of the landmark, tangible projects delivered by the APC-led Federal Government across Southeastern Nigeria.

  1. Completion of the legendary Second Niger Bridge from skeletal work.
  2. Enugu–Onitsha Expressway Corridor: This is a massive reconstruction and dualisation of failed sections, utilizing rigid concrete pavement technology on sections.
  3. Reconstruction of twin bridges at New Artisan, Enugu.
  4. Reconstruction of Enugu–Port Harcourt Expressway: A multi-phase rehabilitation and pavement overhaul connecting Enugu State through Abia to Rivers State.
  5. Reconstruction of some parts of Umuahia road.
  6. Major rehabilitation and expansion work, including the Lokpanta to Abia Tower stretch and the Aba-Eleme Junction.
  7. Massive Port Harcourt Road, Aba.
  8. Aba-Owerri Road.
  9. Umuahia-Ikwuano-Ikot Ekpene Road: A 49km federal road project.
  10. Bende-Arochukwu-Ohafia Road.
  11. 17.5 dualized Second Niger Bridge Access Road.
  12. Onitsha-Owerri Dual Carriageway.
  13. Owerri–Mbaise–Umuahia Road: A 52-kilometer federal highway that connects Imo and Abia states.
  14. Owerri–Orlu Road: A 37-kilometer dual carriageway.
  15. Owerri–Okigwe Road: A 55-kilometer road corridor.
  16. Owerri–Aba Road: A dualized project linking Imo and Abia states.
  17. Orlu–Akokwa–Uga Road: A 19.2-kilometer road.
  18. Mgbidi–Omuma–Okporo Road: A 13.5-kilometer dual carriageway.
  19. Naze–Ihiagwa–Obinze Road: Includes bridge and road reconstruction.
  20. Assumpta–Umuguma–Hospital Road.
  21. Owerri–Mbaise–Obowo–Umuahia Road: A significant federal highway that was reconstructed to connect Imo State to neighboring Abia State.
  22. Owerri–Elele Road: A strategic federal route undergoing full rehabilitation to improve connectivity toward Rivers State, serving as a major trade route.
  23. Second Niger Bridge Access Roads: Ongoing construction of the main connecting routes and bypass infrastructure to fully integrate the new bridge into the regional transport loop.
  24. Bende–Arochukwu–Ohafia Road (Sections I and II): Ongoing reconstruction of critical arterial roads in Abia State to improve access to border communities.
  25. Ongoing dualisation of Ninth Mile-Igbo Etiti-Opi-Obollo-Otukpo federal highway.
  26. Nkporo–Abiriba–Ohafia Road: Full rehabilitation of vital agricultural trade links within Abia State.
  27. Trans-Sahara Super Highway (Section One): A mega-highway project spanning over 123 kilometres that links the Ndibe Beach corridor in Ebonyi State down to the Benue State border, serving as a primary agricultural food belt.
  28. Priority Rail Corridor: Advanced planning and surveying for an interconnected rail line meant to hook the South East trade hubs into the national railway grid.
  29. Enugu International Airport Upgrades: Continuous capital improvement projects at the Akanu Ibiam International Airport to boost international travel and cargo handling.
  30. South-East Venture Capital Programme: Launched by the Federal Government in Enugu to deliver institutional investments, funding, and support to regional startups and MSMEs.
  31. Ariaria International Market Electrification Project: A targeted capital infrastructure project designed to provide dedicated, uninterrupted clean power to tens of thousands of local shops in Aba.
  32. Regional Gas Infrastructure Project: A priority industrial partnership handled by the South-East Development Commission aimed at reviving moribund local factories and powering manufacturing hubs.
  33. Completion of ultra-modern Emene flyover.
  34. Ongoing construction of Abakpa junction flyover.
  35. Aba Medical Diagnostics Centre: A $5.5 million federal healthcare infrastructure investment.
  36. Onitsha Port Expansion: Part of the $508 million Eastern Ports upgrade to allow larger trading ships.
  37. AE-FUNAI Solar Power Plant: A completed 2.8MW solar project at the Alex Ekwueme Federal University under the Energizing Education Programme.
  38. Oguta Naval Base: Development of a new naval out-station to guard regional waterways and oil infrastructure.
  39. Owerri–Mbaise–Umuahia Highway: Regional road restoration to reconnect border markets.
  40. Construction of Nnenwe-Uduma-Uburu Road. Section I (26.27km), and Section II: Spur to Ishiagu-Mile 2 Road(14km), Enugu/Ebonyi States.
  41. Construction of Umulungbe-Umuoka-Amokwu Ikedimkpe Egede-Ojieyi Awhum Road.
  42. Rehabilitation of Ozalla-Akpugo-Amagunze-Ihuokpara-Nkomoro Isu-Onitsha.
  43. Rehabilitation and Asphalt Overlay of 2.2km Internal Roads at the University of Nigeria, Nsukka Campus, Enugu State, and many more projects.
