ENUGU STATE MINISTRY OF FINANCE AND ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT INVITES BIDS FOR PURCHASE OF UNSERVICEABLE MOVABLE ASSETS

The Enugu State Ministry of Finance and Economic Development has invited interested members of the public to submit bids for the purchase of various unserviceable movable assets belonging to the Enugu State Government.

The invitation is being made in compliance with the provisions of the Enugu State Public Procurement Law, 2021, as the state government moves to dispose of assets that have been declared unserviceable across some of its establishments.

The assets are located at different government facilities, including the Enugu State Water Corporation, Enugu State Broadcasting Service, Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium, Enugu, and the Liaison Office in Lagos.

At the Enugu State Water Corporation, the assets listed include a burnt Porter Cabin, a 70 KVA generator and a non-functional MCC starter panel, among others.

The Enugu State Broadcasting Service also has several discarded items listed for disposal, including rusted iron tanks, discarded UPS units and two indoor air-conditioning units.

At the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium, Enugu, a 1971-model Mercedes 0365 Benz bus is among the assets available for purchase.

The Liaison Office in Lagos has also listed two vehicles โ€” a Peugeot 504 Best Line, 1981 model, and a Nissan Tiida, 2004 model.

Prospective bidders seeking detailed information about the listed assets have been advised to contact the Permanent Secretary, Enugu State Ministry of Finance and Economic Development, on 08036476047.

Interested bidders are required to submit their bid documents within 21 days from the date of publication. The documents must be enclosed in a sealed envelope clearly marked โ€œBid Documentโ€, with the bidder’s name written on the reverse side.

The sealed bid should be addressed to:

Enugu State.

The tender notice was signed by the Permanent Secretary, for the Honourable Commissioner, Ministry of Finance and Economic Development, Enugu State, and dated Thursday, August 27, 2026.

The exercise provides an opportunity for interested and qualified members of the public to participate in the disposal process in accordance with the state’s public procurement regulations.
