There are professionals who merely occupy offices, and there are professionals who transform institutions, challenge conventions and leave behind systems that continue to work long after they have moved on.

Ozo Emmanuel Ekene Nnamani, FCA, FCTI, belongs to the latter category.

A distinguished accountant, tax administrator, revenue strategist and advocate of innovation, Ozo Nnamani brings to the Impact Business Innovation Summit 2026 more than two decades of experience at the intersection of finance, taxation, technology, compliance and strategic leadership.

Today, he serves as the Executive Chairman of the Enugu State Internal Revenue Service (ESIRS) and as a Board Member of the Joint Tax Board, Nigeria, contributing to conversations and reforms shaping the future of revenue administration in Nigeria.

His professional journey is remarkable not simply because of the positions he has occupied, but because of the breadth of experience behind them.

From FirstBank of Nigeria Limited, where he served in senior control, learning and automation-related roles, to Fidelity Bank Plc, where he worked in internal control and compliance; from his role as Pioneer Head of Internal Audit at Enugu State College of Education (Technical) to his early accounting career in Enugu, his trajectory reflects a consistent commitment to competence, accountability and institutional excellence.

A PROFESSIONAL OF MANY DIMENSIONS

Ozo Nnamani is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) and a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria (CITN).

He holds an MBA in Accounting from the University of Nigeria, a B.Sc. in Accounting from Enugu State University of Science and Technology (ESUT), and a Mini MBA from Tekedia Institute, USA.

His leadership within the accounting profession has been equally significant. He has served as Chairman of the ICAN Enugu & District Society and Treasurer of the Eastern Zonal District, while contributing to several ICAN Council Committees focused on education and training, entrepreneurship, employment creation and intergovernmental affairs.

At CITN, he continues to contribute to professional discourse, including engagements around Nigeria’s evolving tax framework and the review of the 2025 New Tax Bills.

WHERE TAXATION MEETS INNOVATION

But perhaps what makes Ozo Nnamani particularly relevant to this summit is his understanding that revenue generation is no longer merely about taxation; it is about technology, systems, data, trust and innovation.

As Nigeria searches for smarter and more sustainable ways of mobilising revenue, he has championed the deployment of technology to strengthen informal-sector tax administration and improve revenue mobilisation.

Beyond accounting and taxation, his expertise extends to business modelling, design thinking, innovation and strategic development—fields that speak directly to the aspirations of entrepreneurs and young innovators.

He also serves on the boards of several emerging enterprises, including Students Swot & Associates, Solace Professional Services, Early Lead Consult Ltd. and KOIN Resource Ltd.

For more than 17 years, he has equally invested in young people as a student mentor, helping to nurture a generation encouraged to think beyond conventional boundaries and embrace knowledge, entrepreneurship and innovation.

A VOICE FOR SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT

At the heart of his professional philosophy is a simple but consequential conviction: a society cannot build sustainable development without sustainable revenue.

And sustainable revenue itself demands something more than collection. It demands innovation. It demands accountability. It demands efficient systems. Above all, it demands people with the courage and competence to rethink how things are done.

That is why his presence at the Impact Business Innovation Summit 2026 is significant.

On 18th September 2026, at the International Conference Centre (ICC), Enugu, entrepreneurs, innovators, business leaders, investors and change-makers will gather under the theme:

INNOVATE. BUILD. SCALE UP.

Participants will have the opportunity to draw from Ozo Nnamani’s wealth of experience and gain practical perspectives on business growth, innovation, taxation, financial responsibility, strategic thinking and building enterprises capable of surviving and scaling in a changing economy.

This is more than a gathering of people.

It is a gathering of ideas.

A convergence of ambition and experience.

A meeting point between those who have built and those who are preparing to build.

Join us at the Impact Business Innovation Summit 2026 as we engage minds, empower enterprise and inspire the next generation of builders.
