Governor of Enugu State, Dr. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah, has approved the appointment of 118 persons as Special Advisers, Senior Special Assistants and Special Assistants to the state government.

According to the appointment list, 7 persons were appointed as Special Advisers (SPAs), 8 as Senior Special Advisers (SSAs), while 103 were appointed as Special Assistants (SAs), bringing the number of names listed in the document to 118.
The Special Advisers were assigned portfolios including Conflict Resolution and Mediation, Inter-Governmental Affairs, Policy Affairs and Analysis, Stakeholders Relations and Community Affairs, Economic Development, Grassroots Coordination, and Commerce and Business Development.
The eight Senior Special Advisers will oversee areas including Film and Creative Industry Development, Inter-Party and Mobilisation, Party Monitoring, Legal and Regulatory Compliance, Boundary and Land Dispute Resolution, Small and Medium Enterprise Development, Fiscal Reform and Budget Strategy, and Education and Institutional Development.
The Special Assistants were assigned responsibilities spanning market sanitation and decongestion, health facility maintenance, environmental protection, road infrastructure, rural development, youth and women mobilisation, community engagement, public communication, social media, security intelligence, technology and innovation, education, agriculture, transportation, health planning, housing, social welfare and other areas.
The announcement states that the appointments take immediate effect.
However, the supplied document contains a numbering discrepancy in the Special Assistants section, which runs from 1 to 84 before jumping to 100 and continuing to 118.
