Chukwuebuka Orji Wins Udi Siding Ward 12 Councillorship Election, Pledges Support for Mbah’s Vision

Hon. Chukwuebuka Benneth Orji has been declared the winner of the councillorship election in Udi Siding Ward 12, Enugu North Local Government Area, by the Enugu State Independent Electoral Commission (ENSIEC).

Orji, who secured 19,000 votes to emerge victorious over his closest challengers, described the outcome as a victory for the people, the youths and democratic participation.

Speaking with newsmen in Enugu on Monday, the newly elected councillor said his victory had strengthened his resolve to serve the people of Udi Siding Ward 12 and contribute meaningfully to the administration of the Enugu North Local Government Area under Hon. Ibenaku Harford Onoh.

According to him, his political journey from nomination to victory was guided by a clear determination to identify with and contribute to the development agenda of Governor Peter Ndubuisi Mbah in Enugu State.

Orji said he was particularly committed to advancing the Governor’s vision by working with Dr. Ibenaku Harford Onoh, whom he described as a political leader with whom he shares a common commitment to development and effective representation.

He said the mandate entrusted to him by the people had brought with it a greater sense of responsibility, assuring residents of Udi Siding Ward 12 that he would make their interests and welfare a priority.

“I see this victory not merely as a political achievement, but as a call to greater service. I am grateful to the people of Udi Siding Ward 12 for their confidence in me, and I will work diligently to justify the mandate they have given me,” he said.

The councillor-elect expressed appreciation to the people of the ward, party leaders, youths, community stakeholders and supporters who contributed to his success at the polls.

He further pledged to work closely with the local government leadership, fellow elected representatives and relevant stakeholders to promote initiatives capable of improving the welfare of residents, strengthening grassroots development and creating more opportunities for young people.

Orji assured the people of Udi Siding Ward 12 that his administration at the ward level would remain accessible, responsive and focused on issues that directly affect the people.
