The Senator representing Enugu West Senatorial District, Distinguished Sen. Osita Ngwu, has congratulated the five Local Government Area chairmen re-elected across the district in the just-concluded Enugu State local government elections.

In a congratulatory message, Sen. Ngwu described their return to office as a renewed mandate and a fresh responsibility to the people who entrusted them with another term.
He urged the chairmen to use the opportunity to consolidate ongoing development efforts, strengthen grassroots administration and remain responsive to the needs and aspirations of residents in their respective councils.
The Senator also encouraged the re-elected chairmen to prioritise programmes that would have a direct impact on the lives of the people, while promoting accountability, inclusiveness and effective service delivery at the grassroots.
He extended his congratulations to the people of Aninri, Awgu, Ezeagu, Oji-River and Udi, commending their participation in the electoral process and their continued interest in the development of their communities.
Ngwu further urged the chairmen to maintain regular engagement with traditional rulers, community leaders, stakeholders, youths and other relevant groups, stressing that inclusive governance remains essential to sustainable development at the grassroots.
He wished the five chairmen a successful tenure and charged them to justify the confidence reposed in them by the people through purposeful leadership, effective service delivery and a sustained commitment to grassroots development.
