Prince (Dr) Fidelis Chuma Obidinanwa Congratulates Okolo, Ezediuto on Awgu LGA Council Election Victory

Prince (Dr) Fidelis Chuma Obidinanwa, JP, Ugonnanyere na Mgbidi, has congratulated the Executive Chairman-elect of Awgu Local Government Area, Hon. Uchenna Joseph Okolo, and his deputy, Hon. Dr. Stanley Uchenna Ezeduito, on their victory in the recently concluded Enugu State local government elections.

In a congratulatory message, Obidinanwa described the victory of Okolo and Ezeduito as a significant mandate from the people of Awgu LGA, noting that their emergence comes with the responsibility to translate the confidence reposed in them into purposeful and people-oriented governance.

He urged the chairman-elect and his deputy to justify the mandate through visionary leadership, effective grassroots representation and a strong commitment to the development, welfare and wellbeing of the people.

Obidinanwa stressed the importance of prioritising initiatives that would have direct and lasting impact on the lives of residents, particularly in the areas of grassroots development, infrastructure, social services and other sectors capable of improving the standard of living across communities in Awgu LGA.

He expressed optimism that the incoming administration would build on the aspirations of the people by pursuing a development agenda that places the interests of the electorate at the heart of governance.

He also referenced the administration’s guiding vision, “Tomorrow Is Here/One Day One Project,” expressing hope that the slogan would be translated into tangible development projects, visible interventions and meaningful dividends of democracy across the council area.

According to him, the people of Awgu deserve an administration that is accessible, responsive and committed to delivering measurable results, while ensuring that no community is left behind in the development process.

Obidinanwa further called on stakeholders, community leaders, political actors and residents of Awgu LGA to support initiatives aimed at promoting peace, unity and sustainable development across the council area.

He wished Okolo and Ezeduito a successful and impactful tenure in office, urging them to remain committed to the mandate entrusted to them by the people and to work collectively towards building a more prosperous and progressive Awgu LGA.
