The Senator noted that Nigeria’s greatest strength remains the resilience, courage and determination of its people, stressing that the nation’s challenges can only be addressed through unity of purpose, responsible citizenship and purposeful leadership.

He urged Nigerians to rise above differences and place the national interest at the centre of their actions, noting that the task of nation-building requires the contribution of every citizen.

For the people of Enugu West, Senator Ngwu reaffirmed his commitment to providing effective, responsive and purposeful representation at the National Assembly.

He said his legislative and representative efforts would remain focused on areas capable of improving the lives of constituents, including human capital development, economic empowerment, infrastructure, youth development and the creation of meaningful opportunities for the people.

The Senator further reaffirmed his support for the developmental vision of Enugu State Governor, Peter Mbah, particularly the administration’s efforts towards strengthening governance, expanding economic opportunities and driving sustainable development across the state.

Senator Ngwu said the Independence anniversary should serve as a reminder that the future of Nigeria depends on the willingness of its citizens to work together despite their differences.

“Our challenges may be many, but together, we can overcome them. Our future may demand sacrifice, but with unity, patriotism and purposeful leadership, we can build the Nigeria we all desire,” he said.

He also expressed appreciation to the people of Enugu West for their continued trust and confidence, assuring them that he would remain committed to his responsibilities with dedication, humility and a deep sense of duty.

The Senator called on Nigerians to renew their faith in the country and continue working towards a nation where justice, peace, opportunity and prosperity are accessible to all.

He wished Nigerians a peaceful and meaningful 66th Independence Anniversary and prayed for continued progress for the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Enugu State and the people of Enugu West Senatorial District.

“Happy 66th Independence Anniversary, Nigeria. May God bless our great nation, bless Enugu State, and bless the good people of Enugu West Senatorial District. God bless the Federal Republic of Nigeria.”
