The Executive Chairman of Enugu State Universal Basic Education Board (ENSUBEB), Associate Professor Hyginus Banko Okibe, has congratulated Governor Peter Ndubuisi Mbah on Nigeria’s 64th independence anniversary.
In a statement, Assoc. Prof. Okibe commended Governor Mbah’s outstanding leadership, innovative governance, and numerous achievements across all sectors. “Your enormous achievements in every sector of governance, giant strides in infrastructure, and inclusive governance are testaments to the fact that our march to greatness as a nation is radiating hope in Enugu State and a greater tomorrow assured in Nigeria despite the current challenges,” the statement read.
The ENSUBEB Chairman specifically applauded the ongoing revolution in the basic education sector, citing the establishment of 260 Smart Green Schools in all political wards and the completion of Owo Smart School, where learning activities are already underway as among the footprints of Tomorrow Is Here mantra.
Governor Mbah’s signature projects, including massive road developments, the International Conference Center, the Presidential Hotel, the Agricultural Green Revolution, Ease of Doing Business, Water Supply, and Human Empowerment, have transformed Enugu State and demonstrated his commitment to excellence. These new records have improved the ranking of Enugu state in economic growth, infrastructure development, and reduction in poverty index count.
Assoc. Prof. Okibe assured Governor Mbah of ENSUBEB’s unwavering support and prayers for his continued success. “We are happy to be part of your uncommon transformation of the education sector and the entire State. As we march forward in the journey of promoting basic education, our commitment shall know no bounds until the mission is accomplished,” he said.
The statement concluded with a congratulatory message to Governor Mbah, the ENSUBEB family, and the good people of Enugu state.
