The Enugu State Women Prayer Network has announced its monthly prayer meeting, scheduled to hold on Wednesday, October 9, 2024, at Okpara Square, Independence Layout, Enugu, starting at 9:00 AM.

This month’s meeting holds special significance as it will feature a dedication of all local government chairmen. The event aims to intercede for the state government and the entire state, promoting unity and divine guidance.
The meeting has attracted a diverse range of participants, including wives of elected local government chairpersons and their deputies, elected female political leaders, wives of elected political office holders, and politically appointed women in federal and state governments.
Other expected guests include female heads of personnel management across the 17 local government areas, military/paramilitary officers’ wives groups, women clergy, female church representatives, and women leaders from various sectors, including all political parties.
According to Dr. Mrs. Favour Ugwuanyi, Mni, Coordinator of the Enugu Women Prayer Network, the initiative seeks to unite women in prayer for the state’s growth and development. The meeting provides an opportunity for women to discuss issues affecting their gender and seek divine guidance for their communities.
The Enugu Women Prayer Network is a monthly prayer exercise that brings together women ministers, local government chairpersons, church representatives, politicians, and leaders from various sectors.
“We invite all women in the state to join us for this divine intention of the Almighty God in the land of Enugu State, local governments, churches, offices, families, and individuals,” Dr. Ugwuanyi stated.
