The Chairman of Awgu Local Government Area, Chief Uchenna Joseph Okolo, has reiterated his administration’s dedication to community development and cultural preservation. This pledge was conveyed through his representative, Deputy Chairman; Dr. Stanley Uchenna Ezediuto, at the triennial Aju Amoli Festival 2024 held in Amoli community on Sunday.

Dr. Ezediuto delivered a goodwill message from Chairman Okolo, emphasizing the local government’s readiness to implement its “community choose your priority projects” initiative in Amoli. He urged the community to select five priority projects for execution by the administration, ensuring their needs and aspirations are met.
The Deputy Mayor also stressed the importance of preserving the community’s rich cultural heritage, emphasizing its potential as a driver of economic development. This aligns with the administration’s campaign promises to promote and showcase the area’s cultural values globally.
The people of Amoli reciprocated Chairman Okolo’s commitment, pledging their unwavering support for his leadership and infrastructure development plans for the local government area.
