Ugwu Franklyn (Egobuikeogu), has commended Governor Peter Mbah of Enugu State for flagging off the dualization of the 43.7km Penoks-Abakpa Nike-Opi-Nsukka Road. Hon. Amarachi also joined in praising the Governor for this significant project.
In his remarks, Hon. Ugwu Franklyn expressed gratitude to Governor Mbah for his numerous projects in Enugu State. “Today, I want to say a special thank you to our dear Governor and brother, Barr. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah, for the numerous projects he is doing in Enugu State. The Enugu we are witnessing today is Enugu where our Governor has taken it upon himself to develop the state.”
He highlighted the significance of the Penoks-Abakpa Nike-Opi-Nsukka Road dualization, noting that it has been in disrepair for a long time. “This particular road has been in a mess for a very long time, and I’m happy that the Governor has remembered us and the people of Enugu North Zone.”
Hon. Ugwu Franklyn recalled Governor Mbah’s campaign promise to dualize the road and expressed satisfaction with his commitment to fulfilling it. “I recall the day he came to our market during the campaign period; he said he would dualize this road that connects to Enugu North zone if he emerges as the State Governor. Many of us didn’t believe him, but today, we can all see that he didn’t just make the promise to get our votes but made it based on what he saw that day.”
Specifically, Hon. Amarachi and Hon. Ugwu Franklyn (Egobuikeogu), Chairman of Building Materials Dealers Association Of Abakpa Nike, have commended the governor for flagging off the dualization of the 43.7km Penoks-Abakpa Nike-Opi-Nsukka Road. This project has been long-awaited by the people of Enugu State, and its completion is expected to bring significant benefits to the region.
