According to the directive, signed by Assoc. Prof. Banko Hyginus Okibe, Executive Chairman of ENSUBEB, no fees have been approved for processing examination question papers. This decision aims to protect parents from unnecessary financial burdens and ensure that education remains accessible to all.

ENSUBEB has also outlawed the outdated practice of writing examination questions on the board with chalk. Instead, all examination question papers must now be typed, aligning with modern educational standards.

All Local Government Education Secretaries, Head Teachers, and School Base Management Committees are directed to adhere strictly to this directive. Non-compliance will result in accountability.

This directive is part of the state government’s broader efforts to transform the basic education sector. ENSUBEB’s mission is to ensure access to quality basic education, enhance teaching and learning, and improve infrastructure in primary schools.
