
Executive Chairman of Awgu Local Government Area, Hon. Uchenna Okolo, has formally sworn in Rt. Hon. Nelson Uduji as the new Secretary to the Local Government Council. The oath of office was administered by Barrister Mazi Igbokwe George Esq. at the Council Secretariat.

Chairman Okolo praised Rt. Hon. Uduji, describing him as an “astute legislator” who has demonstrated remarkable dedication and skill. Okolo expressed gratitude to God and Enugu State Governor, Dr. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah, for championing good governance and creating opportunities for young people to showcase their talents and drive economic growth.


“We now have Rt. Hon. Nelson Uduji as Secretary to the Local Government Council, a role he is well-prepared for. We thank God Almighty for making today possible and extend our gratitude to the Enugu State Governor, who has championed good governance and created avenues for young people to showcase their talents and help drive economic growth in our state,” Okolo said.



Rt. Hon. Uduji thanked the Chairman and stakeholders for their support, outlining his vision for the role: “Our approach will be one of business unusual, guided by the policies of our State Governor, Dr. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah.”
