PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT

“The Enugu State Waste Management Authority (ESWAMA) wishes to inform the general public that the clean-up exercise scheduled for this month, which was previously cancelled this morning, will now hold as originally planned,” said ESWAMA.

This announcement serves to counter the earlier cancellation notice issued today. “As with previous clean-up exercises, the movement of people and vehicles will be restricted during the exercise, except for those on essential services,” ESWAMA stated.

Such individuals must present a valid means of identification or an official ESWAMA Pass. “Offenders will be arrested and prosecuted at the Environmental Mobile Court of Law,” ESWAMA warned.

ESWAMA APOLOGIZES FOR ANY INCONVENIENCE CAUSED

“We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this change may cause and appreciate the understanding of the good people of Enugu,” said Andreas Gebauer, SPA to the Governor on Water and Waste.
