The examination marked the culmination of a rigorous selection process, carefully designed to identify the most exceptional students in the SS1 class. As part of its commitment to education and human capital development, the Enugu East Local Government has designed the Greater Tomorrow Scholarship Scheme to provide a platform for young scholars to excel academically and become productive members of society.
The scholarship scheme offers a comprehensive package, including enrollment in special schools within and outside Enugu State, with the local government covering all educational expenses until the completion of undergraduate studies. To maintain their scholarship eligibility, students must consistently demonstrate high academic performance. The documentation of qualified students is scheduled to take place on Saturday, December 14, 2024, at the Enugu East Local Government headquarters by 10:00 AM prompt. A total of 50 students who excelled in the examination will receive scholarship awards, marking a significant milestone in the implementation of the Greater Tomorrow Scholarship Scheme.
