According to a statement released by the Niger State Government, Governor Umaru Bago expressed his deep sadness and shock over Saku’s untimely death. The governor described the news as “heartbreaking” and commiserated with the family of the deceased, the people of Katcha local government area, and the entire state over the loss.
In his condolence message, Governor Bago said, “I received with rude shock the news of the death of Danlami Saku, the Chairman of Katcha Local Government Council. His demise is a sharp reminder that all creatures are from Allah and unto Him they will return at the appointed time.”
