
In a remarkable display of commitment to the welfare of his constituents, Hon. Professor Paul Sunday Nnamchi, representing Enugu East/Isi Uzo Federal Constituency, has successfully concluded the sixth edition of his medical outreach program. The latest exercise, which took place on December 17th, 2024, at the Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Ogwuagor, Abakpa-Nike, Enugu East Local Government Area, was a huge success, with a massive turnout of residents.

The medical outreach program, which commenced on Tuesday, November 19, 2024, at the premises of the Federal University of Allied Health Sciences, Trans-Ekulu, Enugu, has been making waves across the constituency.
The program, which aimed to provide healthcare services to rural and urban dwellers, was previously held in four venues across the two local governments of Enugu East and Isi Uzo. The subsequent exercises were held at the premises of the St Andrew’s Anglican Church Ikem Uno in Isi Uzo Local Government on Wednesday, 20th November, 2024, and later at Eha-Amufu and Nkwo-Akpuoga in Enugu East on Thursday, 22nd November, 2024.
The last two editions of the program, held at Saint Theresa’s Catholic Church Abakpa -Abakpa one and the Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Ogwuagor, Abakpa-Nike, focused on urban residents who couldn’t access the previous programs. These exercises recorded massive turnout of residents who were full of praises for Hon. Prof. Nnamchi for remembering them and providing healthcare services for them.

Residents who benefited from the program, including Mrs. Philomena Ifeanyichukwu Obiora, Mrs. Eunice Ogbu, Master Clinton Ike, and John Oya, , Commended Hon. Prof. Nnamchi for his kindness and provision of healthcare services. They prayed for his success and promised to stand by him. “We will continue to pray that he will move from the House of Representatives to the Senate,” said Chief Boniface Edeh, a septuagenarian who benefited from the program.
Elder Emmanuel Izziga from Obollo Afọr, who came for Eye Cataract examination and treatment, thanked their benefactor, Hon. Prof. Nnamchi, and prayed God to remember him as he has remembered the poor and the needy. Elder Mrs. Antonia Ifoh also hailed Hon. Prof. Nnamchi for his kind gesture towards them and prayed for his prosperity.
The medical outreach program is a testament to Hon. Prof. Nnamchi’s commitment to providing quality healthcare services to his constituents. His efforts have been widely praised, and the program has been described as a significant step towards improving the health and wellbeing of the people of Enugu East/Isi Uzo Federal Constituency.
