The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Enugu State on Thursday, inaugurated some newly elected Local Government and Ward Executives of the party at the Enugu South Council Area.
Thank you for reading this post, don't forget to subscribe!At the Council’s headquarters in Uwani, the special occasion had the distinct presence of the PDP Chairman, Enugu State, Dr. Martin Chukwuwike, who inaugurated the executives commending them as well as members, for their believe in the party.
Dr. Chukwuwike also appreciated the Council Chairman, Hon. Caleb Ani, for ensuring the growth of the party in the area, adding that PDP had been strengthened since his assumption as the leader of the party in the Council Area.
According to him, “With this momentum, I have no doubt that in the next election, the remaining position in the state will be taken over by PDP.
“This inauguration signifies the readiness of PDP to operate seamlessly in the ward, local government, and at state levels. United, we will remain a formidable force to achieve our goals,” he stated.
Chukwunweike urged party members to support the newly inaugurated executives to ensure total success of the party in forthcoming elections.
In a speech, the Chairman, Enugu South Local Government, Hon. Caleb Ani, thanked God for the gift of Governor Peter Mbah to Enugu State.
He praised the leadership of the party in the state led by Dr. Martin Chukwuwike, and the newly inaugurated executives for their readiness to serve.
“Today marks a significant step in strengthening our party structure at all levels within the local government,” Hon. Ani added, urging members to work collaboratively to enhance the party’s success.
On his part, the Enugu South Local Government Party Chairman, Rt. Hon. Freedom Nnam, assured the State’s Party Chairman and his team of the local executives’ dedication to advancing Governor Mbah’s vision for the state and the Southeast region.
He pledged that Enugu South PDP would remain united and focused in achieving its objectives.
The event was graced by prominent figures, including Chukwudi Nnadozie, PDP Enugu State Secretary, Fide Odoh, PDP Legal Adviser, Nnamdi Nwafor, Party Stakeholders and faithfuls from across the State and Local Government.
