The Initiative for Eradication of Poverty and Empowerment of the Disabled (IFEPED) has commended Governor Peter Mbah for his outstanding achievements in transforming Enugu State.

In a Christmas message signed by the President of IFEPED, Mr. Ugwu Victor Clifford, and Acting Secretary, Barr. Gab Ogbe, the organization expressed its appreciation for the governor’s landmark achievements in various sectors, including education, security, infrastructure, and citizens’ wellbeing.
According to the statement, Governor Mbah’s administration has made significant strides in transforming Enugu State, and his support for IFEPED’s programs and financial assistance has surpassed that of his predecessors.
“We appreciate your landmark achievements in all sectors of the state economy, especially in the areas of education, security, infrastructure, and wellbeing of the citizens,” the statement read. “We heartily rejoice with you on the occasion of this year’s Christmas celebration.”
The organization also thanked Governor Mbah for identifying with IFEPED’s programs and providing financial support, which has had a positive impact on the lives of citizens.
“Merry Christmas and Happy New Year 2025,” the statement concluded.
