
In the spirit of the yuletide season, Hon. Prof. Paul Sunday Nnamchi, the House of Representative Member for Enugu East & Isi Uzo Federal Constituency, has brought joy and relief to his constituents in Ako Nike, Isi Uzo Local Govt. On December 24, 2024, Prof. Nnamchi hosted a Christmas goodwill event, where he distributed various items, including food, cash, and clothing, to the people of Isi Uzo Local Govt.

The event, which was attended by constituents from the 12 Political Wards in Isi Uzo Local Govt, was a testament to Prof. Nnamchi’s commitment to the welfare of his people. The beneficiaries, who were visibly delighted by the gesture, expressed their gratitude to Prof. Nnamchi through songs, dances, and chants of joy.


Mrs. Ede Augustina, one of the beneficiaries, lauded Prof. Nnamchi’s quality leadership, saying, “We are grateful for your leadership, and we encourage you to do more.” Chief Ngbe Onye Ji Na Aka, a constituent from Ikem, also prayed for Prof. Nnamchi’s long life and success, saying, “May God bless you and grant you more wisdom to lead us.”



The traditional ruler of Omanzi Kingdom, HRH Igwe Pius Kachi Nnamani, who received a cow on behalf of the Traditional Rulers in Isi Uzo Local Govt, thanked Prof. Nnamchi for his efforts in bringing development to the area. “We are grateful for your support, and we assure you that our prayers are with you,” he said.


In a surprise gesture, Mr. Ken of Ken-Don Electricals, Abakpa Nike, Enugu, presented Prof. Nnamchi with packs of electric bulbs as a token of appreciation for his leadership. “Your leadership shines bright like light, and we are proud to support you,” Mr. Ken said.




Representatives from the Federal College of Education Eha Amufu also presented Prof. Nnamchi with an award of excellence for his support in promoting the institution. The award was in recognition of Prof. Nnamchi’s efforts in promoting the college and his commitment to education.



In his address, Prof. Nnamchi emphasized that his representation goes beyond the House of Representatives, and that he is committed to bringing more development to his constituency. “I want to assure you that my term will continue to bring numerous impacts to our people, and I pray that each of you will return to your various homes peacefully,” he said.



The event was attended by various dignitaries, including Hon. Chinedu Esom, Mrs. Justina Edeh, and Mr. Emeka Emmanuel, among others. The beneficiaries, who were visibly delighted by the gesture, expressed their gratitude to Prof. Nnamchi and promised to continue supporting him.
