
The Enugu State Government has announced the launch of a free tech training program for one million young people in the state. The program, dubbed the Pan-African Disruptive Initiative, is designed to provide tuition-free Emerging Tech Certification programs in a range of fields, including AI/ML, VR Cybersecurity, Cloud Computing, CGI, and more.

According to the Enugu State Tech Hub, the program is open to secondary school and university students, professionals, and anyone eager to upskill. The program is structured to be flexible, with a 6-month duration, requiring just 1.5 hours of commitment twice a week. Participants will also engage in weekly hands-on tasks, all within a fully virtual environment.

The program’s curriculum is designed to provide globally accredited diplomas from over 170 universities worldwide, leveraging the Skillonline platform. With a nominal one-time application fee of ₦6,000 ($3.88) per course, the tuition is entirely free.
