NIKE YOUTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY UNDERGOES LEADERSHIP TRANSITION: COMR. OKOH CHIJOKE UDEMEZUE TAKES THE REINS AS NEW PRESIDENT

In a significant development, the Nike Youth General Assembly (NYGA) has announced a change in leadership, with Mbah Ifediorammah James handing over as President, effective immediately. According to a statement released by the organization, Mbah Ofediorammah James, who has led the NYGA since its inception on October 20, 2020, has handed over the reins to Comr. Okoh Chijioke Udemezue, who has been appointed as the new President.

Comr. Okoh Chijioke Udemezue (Eju Enyim)

Udemezue, a native of Ugwogo Nike, will be assisted by Nnamani Ejike from Amorji Nike, who has been appointed as Deputy President, and Anike Thomas from Agbogazi Nike, who will serve as Secretary. The appointments, which were made by the NYGA’s executive committee, are pending a general election to be conducted for an elected executive of the organization.

In a farewell message, James expressed his gratitude to members of the NYGA for their support during his tenure and urged them to extend the same level of cooperation to the new leadership.

The NYGA, which was established to promote the welfare and interests of the youth of Nike, has been actively engaged in various community development projects and initiatives since its inception.

With the new leadership in place, the organization is expected to continue its mission of empowering and uplifting the youth of Nike.
