…Gov. Peter Mbah Hails New Hospitality Outfit as Boost to State’s Tourism and Economic Development

The Enugu State Government has commissioned Wizzy Hotel & Suites Owo, a newly established hospitality outfit located in Owo, Owo Road Opposite Smart Green School, Owo Nkanu East LGA, Enugu State.
The commissioning ceremony, which took place on January 7, 2025, was performed by the Honourable Commissioner for Culture and Tourism, Dame Ugochi Madueke, who represented Governor Peter Mbah.
In his remarks, Governor Mbah commended the CEO of Wizzy Hotel & Suites, Ani Chikwado Hyginus, for completing and commissioning the hotel project. The governor noted that the hotel’s strategic location would have a significant impact on the state government’s plans to launch its rural and economic development plan through tourism, as well as boosting the state’s economy through revenue generation.
“The completion and commissioning of Wizzy Hotel & Suites Owo is a testament to the investor-friendly environment that our administration has created in Enugu State,” Governor Mbah said. “We are committed to supporting initiatives that promote tourism and economic development in our state.”
Ani Chikwado Hyginus, CEO of Wizzy Hotel & Suites, expressed his gratitude to the Enugu State Government for creating an enabling environment for businesses to thrive.
