According to the Executive Chairman, Dr. Vita Ndu, the GRAP Programme is a testament to the local government’s commitment to making Ezeagu self-sufficient in food production. He emphasized the importance of addressing unemployment through agricultural-driven economic activities and urged the team to work efficiently and diligently.

A key focus of the project is the rapid resuscitation of tractors and earth-moving equipment to facilitate mechanized farming. Significant progress has already been recorded in this regard, signaling the council’s readiness to expand agricultural productivity.

In a related development, Dr. Ndu hosted a delegation from Fidelity Bank to discuss the establishment of a bank branch in Ezeagu. This move is expected to enhance financial accessibility, economic activities, and benefit initiatives like the GRAP Programme and The Future is Green Project.

The Chairman’s proactive approach to agricultural development and financial inclusion demonstrates his resolve to improve the quality of lives for residents while positioning Ezeagu as a hub of rural transformation and progress.
