PDP SOUTH EAST ZONAL MEETING: Hon. Engr. Anayo Onwuegbu FNSE Joins Party Leaders to Reaffirm Support for National Secretary, Zone National Offices, and Unite for a Stronger Party

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) South East Zonal meeting held on Friday, January 24, 2025, at the Government House Enugu, has reaffirmed the party’s support for Hon. SKE Udeh-Okoye as National Secretary.

The meeting, attended by top party leaders, including Enugu State Governor Mr. Peter Mbah, former Senate President Sen. Adolphus Nwagbara, Senate Minority Whip Sen. Osita Ngwu, Hon. Engr. Anayo Onwuegbu FNSE, Member Representing Aninri/Awgu/Oji River Federal Constituency, and Chairman, Committee on Lake Chad Basin, aimed to zone National and Zonal Offices to respective states and resolve pressing party issues.

According to a communique released by Zonal Chairman Chief Ali Odefa, the meeting deliberated on various issues affecting the party and resolved to maintain a united front. The communique also highlighted the party’s commitment to zoning National and Zonal Offices to ensure equitable representation.

Other notable attendees included Chief Ben Obi, former Senator Anambra Central Senatorial Zone, Dr. Martins Chukwunweike, PDP Chairman Enugu State, and various National Assembly members, former governors, ministers, and party officials.

The meeting was described as successful, with party leaders reaffirming their commitment to unity and progress. The PDP South East Zonal meeting is expected to have a significant impact on the party’s strategy and preparations for future elections.
