The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has officially announced the registration guidelines for the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME). To participate in the registration process, candidates must possess an 11-digit National Identification Number (NIN), obtainable from any approved NIMC enrollment center or through the NIMC mobile app.
Candidates are also required to generate a JAMB Profile Code by sending their NIN to either 55019 or 66019 via text. The generated code will be necessary for registration. Additionally, applicants must ensure they have a valid phone number, as it will be used for creating their JAMB profile and receiving updates throughout the registration and examination process. JAMB advises that the same phone number be maintained for continuity.
A functional email address is another key requirement, as it will be used to create the JAMB profile and access registration details. The board emphasizes that meeting these requirements is mandatory for all prospective candidates planning to register for the 2025 UTME.
