The event, which took place last weekend, was a huge success, with participants praising the organizers for providing a platform for them to learn from the best in the industry. A key highlight of the event was the session with Mr. Ferdinand Adimefe, CEO of Magic Carpet Studios, who emphasized the importance of animation in telling Africa’s stories.

“Africa has great stories but lacks the capacity to tell them. Animation can help fill that gap,” Adimefe said. The discussion reinforced the growing relevance of animation as a catalyst for the digital and creative economy.

The initiative aligns with His Excellency, Governor Peter Mbah’s vision for Enugu as a hub for innovation and digital creativity. Under his leadership, the state is actively empowering creatives, fostering digital skills development, and positioning Enugu as a competitive player in the global creative economy.
