On Saturday, February 1st, 2025, a high-powered delegation led by His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Enugu, Dr. Peter Ndubuisi Mba, embarked on an inspection visit to the forest, located at Ukaka. The delegation included the Honorable Commissioner for Budget and Economic Planning, Chief Barr. Chris-Roberts Ozongwu, Honorable Commissioner for Culture and Tourism, Dame Ugochi Madueke, and Commissioner for Works and Infrastructure, Engr. Gerald Otiji, amongst others.
