In a significant development, Hon. Engr. Anayo Onwuegbu FNSE, Member Representing Aninri/Awgu/Oji River Federal Constituency and Chairman House Committee on Lake Chad Basin, has fulfilled his promise to expedite work on the Achi Joint Hospital project.

On February 5, 2025, Onwuegbu delivered multiple truckloads of construction materials, including chippings, sharp sand, and blocks, to the hospital site. This development comes just 11 days after Onwuegbu’s inspection visit to the hospital on January 25, 2025, where he promised to fast-track the project’s progress.
The Achi Joint Hospital project is a critical initiative aimed at enhancing healthcare services in the region. Onwuegbu’s commitment to seeing the project through has been welcomed by the people of Greater Awgu, who are eagerly anticipating the commencement of additional projects in the region.
